One of the best things about metro Atlanta living is the local sports teams, in particular the Gwinnett Gladiators Hockey Team. The team is an ECHL affiliate of the Buffalo Sabres and Phoenix Coyotes and will be kicking off their 10th anniversary hockey season, this October.
While the 2012-13 season kicks off on the road in South Carolina on Saturday, October 13, the first home game will take place on Friday, October 19 at 7:05 p.m. EST against Ontario. Put this game on your calendar now because you won’t want to miss it. They’re certain to have a packed house and you’ll want to be there for all the excitement. That being said, if you can’t wait until October to see the hockey team, there is a great opportunity to see them in Duluth in September. The Gladiators always participate in the Duluth Fall Festival events and this year’s will be on Saturday, September 29 and Sunday, September 30. Once there, you can pick up information about the upcoming season and purchase tickets.
Tickets for the 2012-13 season are on sale now. There are a wide variety of ticket packages available. To purchase tickets and to get more information about the Gwinnett Gladiators, check out their official website. You can also keep up with the latest team happenings on Facebook.
